Configure the OPC server for the specific PLC driver
Add tags
Insert the button on the screen
Configure the events on the button

Question no.3 (ask on 28/07/2014) : Our company is a systems integrator. We have 3 programmers. Do we need to buy 1 or 3 hardware licence keys for the CPS Studio Plus software?

You need to buy three USB hardware licence keys if tou want to use the CPS Studio software on three computers simultaneously.
These keys must be inserted into the PC during the application development phase to give you access to more than 4,000 symbols in the Symbol Factory graphical library.

Question no.4 (ask on 28/07/2014) : What is the difference between CPS Studio, CPS Studio Plus, the Historical Viewer data acquisition software and the Remote Viewer?

CPS Studio is the basic software for the CPS TOUCH edition with free basic symbols.

CPS Studio Plus is the basic software for editing CPS TOUCH + Symbol Factory which contains more than 4,000 symbols.

Historical viewer is a software tool on PC for displaying historical data and historical alarms on the PC.
It is supplied free of charge with CPS Studio and with CPS Studio Plus.
Please see Chapter 8 of the CPS Touch User's Guide for further details.

Remote Viewer can be used to monitor and control the CPS Touch remotely via LAN, Internet or virtual private network.
The CPS TOUCH must be equipped with an Ethernet port for use with the remote viewer application.
Please see Chapter 9 of the CPS Touch User's Guide for further details.

answered on 28/07/2014 :

Yes, many PLC drivers and UPS drivers with various protocols via the Serial and Ethernet ports are supported.
An OPC server is available to configure the various PLC drivers.
