Pyrocontrole takes off with Ariane!

Pyrocontrole, a company in the Chauvin Arnoux Group, has won an initial contract with Air Liquide to supply equipment for the future Ariane 6 European launcher at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG – Centre spatial guyanais). For Pyrocontrole, this represents another step towards the world of tomorrow.

Pyrocontrole supplies Air Liquide Advanced Technologies with Pt100 probes mounted on the ground-based liquid hydrogen fuelling circuits (-253°C), and Pt 1000 sensors (-183°C) on the launch pad dedicated to the new Ariane 6 rocket.

Particularly proactive in its search for cutting-edge technology alongside the CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales – French National Space Centre) and the ESA (European Space Agency), Air Liquide has contributed to all the successive launcher upgrades from Ariane 1 to Ariane 6.

With this high-level collaboration, Pyrocontrole has once again demonstrated its excellence in the production of sensors and probes 100 % made in France for high-tech sectors such as aerospace, nuclear power and, of course, hydrogen.

Alongside the other actors in the European space sector, Pyrocontrole is helping to improve the performance and competitiveness of the future Ariane 6 launcher will be beginning trials in the near future.
